Hello,

I'm having an issue with moving folders in explorer. I have folders containing mp4 files saved on an external HDD but when I come to move them to a different folder on the same drive I get the " the folder or files in it are open in another program" message. I used the resource monitor to see which processes were being run on the folder I was attempting to move and I saw several instances of Flow.exe (10 to 12 instance) listed for the mp4 file in the folder. I ended the Flow.exe process in the resource monitor and then I was able to move the folder and contents.

I  believe that Flow.exe is part of an audio driver and it is on my system here : C:\Program Files\CONEXANT\Flow

Is there a way to prevent this process from stopping me moving my folders without having to end the task in the resource monitor?

Thanks

Richard
