Hi.
I'm trying to enable NVIDIA Resizable BAR on my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000a with HP RTX 3060 Ti LHR OEM installed. Under drivers for my PC there is following firmware update available:
Nvidia RTX3060Ti VBIOS |
Type: Firmware Version: 94.04.38.80.76 Rev.A Operating systems: Windows 10 (64-bit) Release date: Mar 29, 2021 File name: sp113071.exe (4.1 MB) Description: This package contains the Nvidia RTX3060Ti VBIOS for supported models running a supported operating system. |
When I try to install this update, I get an error when executing "nvflash RTX3060Ti(Rebar)_9404388076.rom -A --noconfirm":
NVIDIA Firmware Update Utility (Version 5.692.0)
Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (10DE,2489,103C,88D4) S:00,B:01,D:00,F:00
EEPROM ID (EF,6014) : WBond W25Q80EW 1.65-1.95V 8192Kx1S, page
WARNING: None of the firmware image compatible PCI Device ID's
NOTE: Exception caught.
ERROR: GPU PCI Device ID mismatch. |
As I can understand, this happens due to mismatch between my GPU - which is LHR (GA104-202, 10DE-2489), and attached in update ROM file - which is for FHR cards (GA104-200, 10DE-2486). This simply makes it impossible for me to update the GPU VBIOS using the SP113071 update.
So my expectations are very simple - HP needs to release correct ROM file with matching ID's and latest VBIOS for my particular GPU.
Regards.
