My friend gave me his HP Stream laptop (Has Windows 10) that he hadn't used in a while. It has his mom's account on it currently and he asked me not to delete or reset anything cuz they don't wanna lose the family photos and such that they have stored on the device so out of respect for them, I haven't done that. However, I am wondering. If I sign out of his mom's account on the device and then reset it, will she lose anything that she has stored in it, on any other devices? I'm just trying to figure out my options for making this laptop my own without screwing them over and making them mad at me. Thanks for any assistance

hi

yes, it's very likely.
I find it curious, like deal ..
but you could just create another user account, less risky for data, present
