HP All-in-One Desktop PC 24-cb1000a (4M9N7AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently purchased this unit, and installed Windows 10 Pro 64.  Now the HDMI port is not working.  Contacted HP, they diagnosed BIOS issue, but want me to pay for support even though I have factory warranty.  Can't use the HP support window because it only shows downloads for Window 11.

Drivers and BIOS updates for your system are here

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-all-in-one-desktop-pc-24-cb1000a/2101040230

Since you have downgraded to 10 it is likely the support assistant cannot find any drives.  The drivers for 11 can be used.  I do see a problem as there are BIOS releases for different ROM SSIDs

Please go into your BIOS and find the SSID and version and compare to the versions listed: 89DC, 8923 and 8924

If you have 8923 you should never try to install 8924 or 89DC

It is always dangerous to upgrade bios.

You can also try any of the driver updates even though they say windows 11

I assume you want to add a second monitor to the HDMI.  According to the manual, your laptop HDMI cannot be used as input such as from an xbox.
