In the midst of updating this old PC I purchased second hand as a backup to do minimal task on.  While choosing to have HP identify any drivers or software that may need updating using the tooI to make the process easier, it's taking too long, just spinnig endlessly. Having researched the Internet. Saids to uninstall and reinstall Framework. But, Windows will not allow for a uninstall. Any suggestions?

Thanks inadvance
