When was the last time you opened the case?  I open all my case (and clients' too) at least once a year and blow out the dust and dirt that will cause overheating.

Get a can of compress air as it is useful for so many things.  I buy 4-6 packs at Costco for $20.  Those are large cans.  Staples has a tiny can for $10-12 each.

One tip, let the computer cool off FIRST, ie power down, wait 5 minutes.  Then use short burst of air, not a long continuous stream of air.  The can will get VERY cold, but that is normal.
