Hi:
You can't open the CD tray because it is a dummy filler blank.
Your PC does not come with an optical drive (DVD).

Hi:
I would go to the Canon website look up your model printer and you can download the drivers and software for your printer from Canon. No need for a DVD drive.
I have 3 Canon printers and got the drivers for all 3 of them directly from Canon.
They will also be the latest ones.
