Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP agent (AVA) posted a link (for the same problem) to give instructions on how to REMOVE the HPDIAGS popup that shows up every time I boot up my PC.  This LINK is not user-friendly and I could not find the "how To" on the link AVA sent.  I want this popup to go away and I don't see it on my control panel to "add/remove"

I NEED step-by-step on how to make this popup go away

AVA... OR ANY HP AGENT READING THIS.... please give me step-by-step instructions AND not a link to read.

Thank You

@alyceskis

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand you are unable to stop the pop message regarding HP diagnostics,  to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Could you please share the picture of the popup screen?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  1. In Windows, search for and open Task Manager. If the Task Manager window opens with tabs across the top, click Fewer details in the lower-left corner.
  2. To close a program, select it, and click End task. The program closes. The program might restart.

And, Also refer to the article: Using Task Manager (Windows 10, 😎 By the end of the article you will be able to fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
