I want to program the macros so I downloaded HP Accessory Center. Tried to add the HP 435 Keypad, it redirects me to the bluetooth settings. I connected the keypad to bluetooth. Returned to the HP AC, nothing happened. I select the product again and it redirects me to bluetooth settings again. Not sure how I'm supposed to set up the macros!

I've got a HP970 keyboard and I get the same issue. I've tried connecting via Bluetooth and also USB Dongle. But same issue. I presume HPAC is not seeing the keyboard as a connected accessory. As such I can't program any of the buttons on this programmable keyboard (which is missing the PrintScreen button).

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Accessory!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like HP Accessory Center (HPAC) isn’t properly detecting your HP 435 Programmable Wireless Keypad after connecting it via Bluetooth. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and set up macros:
Ensure Compatibility
- Check if HPAC supports your device: Not all HP accessories are supported by HP Accessory Center for advanced customization.
- Visit HP’s official support page and check if the HP 435 is listed as a supported device for macro programming.
Reset Bluetooth Connection
- Remove the Keypad from Bluetooth settings
- Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth, find HP 435, click the (x) to remove it.
- Restart your Mac and the HP 435 keypad.
- Re-pair the device via Bluetooth.
- Open HP Accessory Center and check if it detects the keypad.
Check for HPAC Updates
- Open HP Accessory Center and check for updates.
- If you downloaded an older version, uninstall it and reinstall the latest version from HP official website.
Let me know if it helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Thanks Zoe, but that didn't work.
I believe its supported:
https://www.hp.com/au-en/shop/hp-970-programmable-wireless-keyboard-3z729aa.html
Also in HPAC, its listed as a specific model HP970 that I can choose.
Ive rebooted.
HPAC is up to date.
I removed keyboard and reconnected via BlueTooth.
HPAC still does not detect it. When I click on add new keyboard, it just goes to the Win11 bluetooth settings.
I really need a PrintScreen button (which is missing as a physical button), and bought this as a "programmable" keyboard... but can't program any of the buttons.
