HP All in One 24-df0214 Bios update fails over and over. I have two very close in model doing the same thing. I have tried win+b win+v , I have pulled the drive(system will not post). I also copied the new bios on to the SSD just in case it was looking there, I am unable to boot from a flash drive. Any help would be great.HP AIO bios error.jpg

Hi:

There is no such model number that I am aware of.  I think the '1' you wrote is an 'f.'

Is it this model?

If so...

Please see this discussion...You need to make a BIOS recovery drive with the F.41 BIOS update file and not the latest two that HP has.

Your PC's motherboard is the same one as in this discussion.

"Thanks Paul, but this file seems to have errors...sp145453 and sp143666, Unable to make USB recovery flash drive, that's why when these updates are coming and people getting them installed are getting stuck in a BIOS update fail loop. Hence, on the basis of my exploitation SP141980 was fine, with this i was able to create BIOS recovery flash drive and finally restored BIOS and break the loop of BIOS update fail."

Link to the F.41 BIOS update.

The is link explains how to create a BIOS recovery flash drive.

I've already provided the BIOS file you need, which is good for either W10 or W11.

This did work on the white HP AIO but not on the black one. I think it has an actual HW issue since I can't use Win-b before post.

You're very welcome.

Yes, there is probably something else wrong with that PC, since the BIOS recovery worked fine on the other one.

There is different Motherboard models and different BIOS Chips for the same model, check on HP download center and you will see 4 or more different BIOS depending on the ROM Family SSID (86F3, 86F0, etc)

Choose different models and see if one of those works on the other PC. This Problem occurs because windows update tried to install a BIOS update using the wrong BIOS file
