I purchased a refurbished HP 590-p0054 on EBay. Description says Windows 10 OS. When I received it, Windows 11 was installed. Is there a way to use this tool to put the pc back to its original state? The pc is great, Windows 11, I don't care for very much. Guess I've been spoiled by Windows 10. Has any one used this tool?? Any feedback is welcome.

I believe your product ID is 3LB89AA#ABA, please verify if I am correct.
If so, then you an restore your system to original softawre.
Get a 32gb flash and go here to do the cloud restore
You may run into the following problems:
1 - The cloud restore may be so old that the Microsoft 10 updates are no longer available on their update server. If this happens you will need to manually download the latest windows 10 update, probably using another computer..
2 - The upgrade for the lastest version of 10 may fail because the old version of 10 does not have the latest runtime libraries. This happened to me and I had to use another computer to download the runtime libraries because the old version of internet explorer was not recognized by the site that had the download.
note that windows 10 support ends oct 2025

Yes, that is the product number. With all the possible issues that could occur, would it be more suitable to create recovery media from Microsoft? Just looking for the best way to do this, before Win 11 drives me crazy. Thanks

The cloud restore will have the correct drivers unlike the Microsoft "clean" install of 10.
Unless I am mistaken, the cloud recovery will write out the HP drive structure that includes the BIOS backup restore partition. That partition will not be created when using the window's 10 clean install.
You will get a lot of bloatware that has expired such as McAfee or Norton to name few that are especially bad at phoning home and wanting you to update expired licenses.
There are registry edits to make windows 11 look more like windows 10 but that is only cosmetic.
