HP Compaq 4000 pro SFF can't find drivers for network adapter Intel® 82567V Gigabit Ethernet Phy

Old windows 7 workstation can't find internet connection. When going into device manager, it gives a yellow triangle and says that "ethernet controller" doesn't have a driver installed. Looked through dousens of internet forums regarding similar issues for multiple months now. Found nothing but that it is a common issue where the solution is to just download the drivers from dead link. Only thing I've rlly found out is that the internet chip is called "Intel® 82567V Gigabit Ethernet Phy" which helps nobody as all it links to is some sketchy driver auto installer that doesn't work on windows 7 and some intel page

that only gives some nice user manuals that have moved away and been updated so they seemingly don't support windows 7 anymore (all you get is a manual for some newer line of intel products that has nothing to do with my windows 7 workstation).

As far as I can tell, I've scoured the web and found nothing useful. Now this is my last resort before throwing the old pc away 😞
