HP Compaq Elite 8300 All-in-One PC (ENERGY STAR)

Problem is as subject states.  I bought this excellent, still working computer 10 years ago.  Some years ago I updated to Windows 10 pro -64 bit.   I have performed the update process a number of times and it does not complete and undoes the update. (I am not trying to update to Windows 11)

Here are the two particular updates it cannot complete;

1) 2025-01 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64 (KB5050593)

2) 2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5053606)
Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)

As you can tell I'm a user not a tech. Thanks for anything.

If you are not on W10 22H2, which is the latest version of W10, you can try an in-place update to W10 22H2 by clicking on the blue Update now button at the link below:

Download Windows 10

There is a way to bypass the W11 hardware check on your PC to do an in-place update to W11 so if you are interested, let me know.

Thanks I will try that. Not looking to update to 11 as yet.  I like 10 better for now.

Thanks again.  It seems that the  Windows Update Assistant fixed the corrupted file(s).
