Compaq Deskpro EX series
Other

I'd like to download drivers for an old desktop computer. A Compaq Deskpro EX series desktop that is running Windows98 SE. When I visit the HP driver website (link at botton), and type in Compaq Deskpro EX series into the search prompt, it autocompletes so it has a record of this computer. However, after I choose Windows 98 SE as the operating system, when I wait for the drivers to appear, all I get is the following message:

"HP is compiling your results. This could take up to 3 minutes, depending on your computer and connection speed. Thank you for your patience."

This message lasts for hours and will never show me the drivers. If anyone has advice, I'd appreciate it.

Hi:

HP retired support for that model series because it is more than 10 years old.

They probably haven't completed dismantling the support pages.

You may be able to still find some drivers from a 3rd party website.
