I have received a pop up to perform a critical update (HP Display Control).  I have downloaded the update and run the .exe.  It goes to finish and says wrapper has completed but no other instructions.  Can someone help me complete the update.  When I start my PC up again the message again says to perform critical update.

Id you have already updated successfully then you can ignore this and disable pop up. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to Startup tab, find "HP Display Control" or "HPDC_Service", disable it, then restart. This stops popups without losing functionality. In future you can check it again for update when next version available.
