Could someone please tell me what HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.0.804.0 is for? This came in my Optional Updates from Microsoft on 11/2/22. I installed it with no problem but I have no idea what it is for.

It is an update to this driver:

HP Application Enabling Software Driver

This package provides the HP Application Enabling Software Driver for supported computer models running a supported operating system. HP Application Enabling Software Driver is a virtual driver that offers general custom capabilities which will be utilized among HP applications after transferring to the Microsoft store app with HSA architecture.

It is going to update this hardware ID according to the driver file:   [HP.ntamd64]
