Hello,

I got a notification in Microsoft Windows Update, referring that HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 4.2.2101.0 is "Pending Install". 

My question: Does anyone know what this is? I searched the internet and found no info about this.

I'm concerned because I heard that such updates sometimes slow down the PCs.

Do you what is for? Should I install it.

I had the same thing show up in windows update today, I asked Windows Copilot what it was, and its only response was this Post/URL. I found the screenshots below in my devices list after install with a matching version number. I should probably point out I'm using Windows 11 Pro on an "HP EliteBook 845 G9 14".
