Hi,

 

Does anyone know where to find the HP MyDrive utility.  I want to check if the DVDRW I've need a firmware update.

The drive is HP CDDVDW SH-216BB  with F/w HE50.

@samtom1 The software included with the DVD Writer must be installed and the DVD Writer connected to the computer before completing the next section. If possible, the computer should also be connected to the Internet, however, if you've misplaced the CD with this software, I must let you know that it's not available online for download as the same has been phased out, instead we offer a better way of finding firmware updates among others using the HP Support Assistant: click here for details.
