HP Recommended

We had problems with this computer from day one. But about a year to two years ago the HP One Agent service was causing high CPU. We found that others were having the same issue and when we removed it from the computer it would get downloaded back by HP. We stopped the service which helped for awhile but the service would always start running again on its own.

Recently our home has been filled with a weird smell. We checked the refrigerator for Freon leak but there was not. We checked all other mechanical items like fans, etc. None of these things was causing the smell.

I checked to see if the HP One agent was installed and running again on the laptop as the smell seemed to be coming from the area of the Laptop.

Sure enough it was running HP One Agent again. This time, however, was much worse as the smell has permeated our entire home. We stopped HP One Agent and the smell from the computer subsided right away.

But this time, it was much worse and has caused damage to our computer AND TO ANYONE IN THE HOME AS IT WAS MAKING ME FEEL SICK.

I WILL NEVER buy another HP product again.  The whole weird episode for the last couple years with HP One Agent was the nail. I hope other people will buy something else. I've had many HP products over the years, but this is disturbing to say the least and the last computer I buy. The reason for HP One agent is suspicious as well.
