Purchased new HP Pavilion with W 10 64 bit. After configuring settings I find I am unable to download files from all sites.
I am concerned that one of my settings may be inappropriate and preventing the downloads.
All records in my download list give file reference with a note "Unable to download....file"
Can someone suggest a possible solution please.

Are you the Adminstrator Account?
When you say "configuring settings" that's what?
1) What settings?
2) What browser, and did you set security setting to prohibit downloads?
How to fix this when using Internet Explorer
You will notice the 2 settings are "enable". That is correct for downloads.
