I upgraded my HP Pavillion PC to Windows 10. I need the software for the Media Center items. I was able to install the driver for the ViXs Pure TV card. It recognizes my remote but I need the software to continue. Any help or ideas?

You're talking about a PC that is over 10 years old, and those apps, as far as I recall, only ran under Windows 7.
So, they are not available for Windows 10.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Hello
if you are talking about the media center function, originally included in windows, it was removed in windows 10
There are sites out there that tell you how to install media center, but maybe that's not the best thing to do.
If it is another software, which was installed, in fact, it may not be possible to find it for windows 10 any more, at least for free.
I looked quickly, but could not find an indication for this program, an idea of the name if there was one?
Otherwise, you can search for other programs, free, more or less effective.

Thank you for your reply. I think I will stop looking for the HP Media Center software. With the new smart TV's and other functions it is probably an outdated feature. I will probably remove the VIVX card also. The m8330f PC works great with Windows 10. It did have Vista which was almost unworkable.
