Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve this HP R70 System Failure issue:

1. Check the Diagnostic LED Codes (Blinking Lights):

HP systems often use blinking lights or LED codes to indicate specific issues with the hardware. If you're seeing blinking lights (such as the Caps Lock LED), it’s important to count the blink pattern. For example:

  • 1 blink: Processor failure
  • 2 blinks: Memory (RAM) failure
  • 3 blinks: System board failure
  • 4 blinks: Graphics card failure

If you're seeing a blinking Caps Lock light or other LEDs, please provide the pattern, and I can help interpret it for you.

2. Hard Reset the Laptop (or Desktop):

Performing a hard reset can help resolve issues caused by residual power or temporary faults:
