Very simple question.  How do I get rid of the annoying constant update notification on HP Support Assistant to upgrade the BIOS.  It is an option which I do NOT want to elect.  I left it unchecked in settings and the upgrade page.  I opted to remove it from my task bar.  Nothing works to get rid of it.  I want it out of sight, off everywhere.   Thanks for your help.

Consider uninstalling the HP Support Assistant, under the presumption that it has already updated everything that needed to be updated, leaving no other updates (other than the BIOS) to be installed.

Maybe, sometime in the future, reinstall it, run it, to let it install any not-currently-available updates, and again uninstall it.
