Hi everyone!

I'm an intern at a company in the Netherlands that focuses mainly on automated processes. I didn't know much about the subject, hence my internship to learn about it.

I'm working on a project where I have to remove HP software in a pre-configuration task for other companies.

The company would like to do this with preferrably no, or, if impossible, as little input as possible.

In the past few weeks I have been researching unattended uninstalls with /qn and /norestart arguments in batch/powershell scripts(which they have the preference of), but it seems HP Sure Click just doesn't want to follow those commands.

Normally, when attempting to uninstall it through apps&features, it asks to close explorer.exe, then gives only one dialogue box which forces you to reboot your system.

I tried removing HP Sure Click with these lines in a batch file:

MsiExec.exe /X{2FD72A1E-7A2C-11E8-84E7-3863BB3CB5A8} /qn /norestart

All this does, however, is close explorer.exe so Windows goes black; and Sure Click remains installed.

Is there a way to remove this piece of software without user input, in any way possible?
