Product: HP t740 Thin Client (5PD46AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I'm trying to configure the HP Write Filter on my HP T740 thin client to allow event logs to write to disc so they are kept after restarts or shutdowns. I've tried to create a file exclusion with the HP Write Filter to allow the various logs to be able to write, i.e system.evtx log. This did not work. I then tried to move the log files to a differernt drive that did not have a write filter associated with it, but same result. If I completely turn off the HP Write Filter all logs are retained after restarts/or shutdowns. Does anyone have any suggestions or know how to properly configure the write filter to allow logs to write to disc?
