Product: HP Chromebook 14 G7

I am repairing a couple HP chromebook 14 G7 and after replacing the system board the serial number and model number doesn't show up after pressing alt+V. I have already tried Powerwashing and then making sure to update the OS but it stilll doesnt show the Serial Number. This issue is stopping me from enrolling the devices. Is this from a faulty system board or do i need to do a manual input from developer mode to set the serial number?
