I was getting this message after doing some updates with the HP Support Assistant last night " HP Network Launcher has Crashed, click this balloon to reload the extension". I have uninstalled and re installed Chrome, and also uninstalled and re installed HP Support Assistant. I know it is related to the support assistant, as it was the only update I did in the last 24 hours. Also, when I try to use the virtual assistant, it will launch Chrome. If I then click on a new Chrome session, it works. If I exit that browser session with the virtual assistant, Chrome crashes every time, Please help.

I was able to fix it by removing the HP assistant, the network launcher, and installing a previous version of Chrome. Thanks.

Suggest you remove the  HP Network Launcher extension from Chrome to start.

Next, try clearing all the cache / cookies in your Chrome browser.

Restart your computer and log in.

If all else fails, create a backup of your bookmarks and anything else that is "chrome-centric" - for example, Chrome Favorites (if there is such a thing).

and

Try removing (uninstalling) Chrome then installing a fresh copy.
