Product: HP t540 Thin Client (9MR33AV)

I am having a challenge installing a software on my t540 linux thin client. I successfully downloaded the software but it doesn't execute when i launch it. i also could not read a USB drive on the system if i want to carryout installation from there. it seems the device is factory locked to prevent carrying out software installation of any sort on it. please help otherwise this machine will appear useless to me. thank you.
