Ive read the other posts on this issue and the workarounds do not work.  Ive upgraded to v5.0.8 from v5.0.3 and the issues persist.  Has a permanent solution or root cause been identified?

What is the OS on the T620? What template are you trying to create and what are you trying to achieve ?

This has nothing to do with the T620, but i had to put this somewhere because there is no forum for HPDM.  When editing an existing or even new sequence, clicking on"ok" or doing a "save as" results in merge failure.  When i look in the repository,  the offending application (usually file and registry) is now deleted.  I should not have to recreate a package or start with a new template every time a failure occurs.  Ive been using HPDM for a couple of years and its about time this issue gets fixed.

HP T620 Thin client has full support with WES7, Win10IoT and Thin Pro 7.0. However if you have TP5 or TP6 then there its not supported on HPDM 5 which could create issues.

The issue with the templates are sometimes with the file permissions in the repository  and most of the time issues with the Database. If you are using PostgreSQL there are chances that there is data corruption, preventing you to edit the template. If you use SQL then check if there is full permission to read and write in the Database. Since you are trying to edit a sequence template, I would suggest you to try to create a new sequence template and test it.

Because you insist, all my thins are running W7 and W10IoT, but again this is about HPDM templates and not sending tasks to the thin clients.

If this is data corruption then can you explain why i get the same results from a brand new installation of HPDM (PostgreSQL) with data from one subnet and a few downloads from HP Update Center.  This problem has been part of the software for years and the best info on the forum is use a workaround that doesn't always work.  Is there a contact number for HPDM support?
