There has been one issue faced with HPImageAsist.
We ran the utility on a machine ( using the command line switches as per the official documentations, so that end user does not need to interact ) and it successfully installed all the required drivers and the Utility returned exit code 0 ( this was found in the logs located at C:\Temp\HPIAOUT\Recommendations, that are created by the utility ).
As per the official documentation on HPImageAsist, return code 0 indicates, Installation is successful. ( which means no reboot is required, contrary to code 3010 which means a reboot is required to complete the installation ).
But there had been few scenarios where we found the return code to be 0 and still HPImageAssist is sending notifications to reboot the machine to complete installation.
Also, is there a way(command line switch) to suppress all notifications from HPImageAsist ?
