HP 750-014nb
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello dear forummembers,

I have HPSA installed but it was a stupid idea to delete my HP 750-014nb in my profile.  By no means I can add my machine again in my profile.  I uninstalled the HPSA and reinstalled it hoping to add my machine again. HPSA cannot find this machine to add.  How should I proceed now, if anyone can give me a hint to fix this I would be very gratefull.  Thank you very much.

Try / Consider

  • Remove (uninstall) the HPSA - remove also (when asked) the profile / personal data.
  • Install a fresh version of the program.
  • Check for any difference.
  • Read documents on How-to / Troubleshooting for more information.

Details

Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features >

Scroll down, find, Uninstall the HP Support Assistant

After the uninstall is completed, Restart the computer and log in

NOTE:

When / If asked whether you want to save any of the presets / personal HPSA information, respond to have any (personal) data associated with the program removed along with the HPSA software.

Download and Save

HP Support Assistant

  • If you have ‘Admin’ control, you may highlight the package and “double-click” to install it, else Right-Click, select run as Administrator and install.
  • After the software is installed:  Restart the computer and log in
