 Hello, I have a hana 25L am4 motherboard with it's original bios, works great. I just purchased a 5700x3d and notice the cpu runs at 3.4ghz, cpu can not boost no matter what. Is there any way to update this motherboard's bios so my cpu can run at it's rated advertised boost?

 

I tried contacting technical support but they will not help me because I do not have my serial number on my desktop case anymore. I would really appreciate any type of help, thank you.

Hi:

 

The motherboard specs do not indicate that the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X is a supported processor.

 

HP Desktop PCs - Hana motherboard specifications | HP® Support

 

In order for me to find the latest BIOS update for your PC, l will need to have the product number of your PC.

 

To find the product number for your PC, click on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.

 

Type: System Information

 

The System information app should show up.

 

Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
