Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an issue with my HP pavilion gaming desktop. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can help me to fix the issue. My computer is super slow and couldn’t able to download some apps. Long time to open the website and all. I checked the windows updates and any virus issues everything was fine. Few weeks ago I had a blue screen appeared on my computer and somehow I fix that issue.

@NA-19, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

1. Restart Your Laptop

A simple restart can often speed up your laptop by:

  • Clearing temporary files
  • Freeing up RAM
  • Terminating background processes
  • Refreshing system resources

2. Check and Upgrade RAM

To find out how much RAM you have:

  1. Press the Windows + X keys on your keyboard
  2. Select “Task Manager”
  3. Click the “Performance” tab
  4. Select “Memory”

I suggest you to refer this guide for further troubleshooting: Slow Laptop? 15 Fixes to Speed Up Your PC

I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
