I am required to close the bridge communication application in order to take an exam online. However, I haven't heard of this application before and I do not know how to close it as well. I need help with this issue please. Thank you.

I did a search for the "bridge communication application".  It is from HP.

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/what-is-bridgecommunication-exe-from-hp

This site explains what that application is and what it does and how to stop/remove it.

I had the BridgeCommunications issue at an exam today. The process is re-started after some time (5-10 minutes) and then stops the exam. Afterwards, I found the following sustainable solution: stop the service "HPSysinfoCap". This service controls the BridgeCommunications process and re-starts it.

I could not find reliable information (within reasonable time) whether it is safe to completely disable the service.

The link I posted in my previous post tells how to stop the software and how to remove it.  It is a HP sponsored service and not needed.

From that link -

Can I delete bridgecommunication.exe?

Yes, you can delete the file, but you should not do it directly. Go to Settings > Apps and locate the HP  JumpStart program. You can uninstall it. It will automatically remove the exe file as well. Make sure to restart the PC.
