Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

How do I get the Zoom app from microsoft app store? My new laptop is in S mode.

Given a choice, it is what I would have done in that same situation.

Found this - Apparently you can run Zoom - at least to the extent that you can join meetings - from the latest Microsoft Edge browser - the Edge bowser based on Chromium.

Can you download and use Zoom with Window 10 S mode?

 

If you open the  Microsoft Community homepage, the information for "new" Edge is "right there" on the web page.

 

As a side bar:  I installed this version of Edge into "regular" Windows 10 Pro a while ago - it is a nice browser, in my opinion.

I don't think you can "get the app" - Zoom is not an application (not at this writing, at least).

 

And, you are correct - Windows in "S" mode is limited - you can only install software from the Store.

Easy of use traded for a full Windows experience.

 

Contact Zoom support or visit the website for more information on Zoom products.

I decided to opt out of the s mode. I have installed Chrome and the apps I need and I'm happy with what I have now. Works for me!
