Product: HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 Base Model Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
It has been gifted down to me by a relative but there is a domain admin how do I get rid of everything and do a clean wipe so I can add my email and make myself the domain admin or the only one who can use the laptop

Hi:
Use the HP cloud recovery client utility to create a bootable USB drive that you can use to factory reset the notebook.
