Hi @MikeB29,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Taking a screenshot on your HP All-In-One PC can be done using the Prt Sc (Print Screen) button on your keyboard. Here’s a step-by-step guide.
Using the Print Screen Button:
Full-Screen Screenshot:
- Press the Prt Sc button. This will copy the entire screen to your clipboard.
- Open an image editing program like Paint or Word, then paste (Ctrl + V) the screenshot and save the file.
Active Window Screenshot:
- Click on the window you want to capture.
- Press Alt + Prt Sc. This will copy only the active window to your clipboard.
- Open an image editing program, paste (Ctrl + V), and save the file.
Direct Save Screenshot (Windows 10/11):
- Press Windows Key + Prt Sc. This will save the entire screen directly to your Pictures folder under Screenshots.
Using the Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch:
Snipping Tool:
- Search for "Snipping Tool" in the Start menu and open it.
- Click "New" and select the area you want to capture. Save the screenshot as needed.
Snip & Sketch (Windows 10/11):
- Press Windows Key + Shift + S. The screen will dim and you can select the area you want to capture.
- The screenshot will be copied to your clipboard. A notification will appear; click on it to edit and save the screenshot.
These methods should help you capture and save screenshots easily on your HP All-In-One PC.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
