Hello,
I've been told that my computer isn't up to date on BIOS and I was wondering how I could check it and update it.

Hi:
From the information I could find, your PC comes with the HP 'Edoras' motherboard with a SSID of 84FD.
Please confirm that your PC's motherboard has that SSID as the BIOS updates are SSID-specific.
To find the motherboard SSID info, run the Windows system information app and the SSID will be listed on the Baseboard Product line.
If your PC's motherboard has the 84FD SSID, below is the link to the latest BIOS update HP has for that motherboard:
OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0030qd CTO Software and Driver Details
It was written to be run on W10.
I don't know what will happen if you run it on W11.
Usually, it is not a problem but since I don't have your model PC I cannot guarantee it will work and if it doesn't you can permanently wreck your PC.
If things are running fine, I would leave well enough alone.
