My computer came with 1TB, but by default everything is being stored on the C drive which is only 118 GB.
Naturally the C drive filled up very quickly. How do I have everything saved in the giant D drive now?
I have tried changing the settings in storage under "change where new content is saved' but that doesn't work because there is no option for 'download folder' or 'desktop' which is where I save everything. It seems it only apply to 'photos' that you keep in their default 'photo' folder, or 'videos' that you keep in their default 'video folder', etc. For example, a realtor would have one file called 123 Main Street and keep all images, and doc files in it so everything is together. They would never keep the images in the default 'photo folder' and the doc files in the default 'doc folder' or everything would be scattered all over the place...that would be unreasonable.
How do i arrange for my desktop to be saved in D drive instead of the full C drive now?
