Hello, recently i have formatted my entire PC using USB. i have reinstalled all the drivers etc and bios as instructed my pc works perfectly fine.

However, ive been trying to change the resolution of my pc, but i cant because i dont know which app to use.
I have tried to use the HP display Center, but that doesnt work.

i know you can change the resolution using windows, but i want to have the resolution stretched.

Does anybody know a fix for this?

To achieve a stretched resolution on your HP ENVY All-in-One - 27-b238nb, here are some steps you can follow:

Change Resolution Using Windows Settings:

  • Right-click on the desktop and select Display Settings.
  • Scroll down to Display Resolution and choose the resolution you want.
  • If you want a stretched resolution, select a lower resolution than your monitor's native resolution. This will stretch the display to fit the screen.

Adjust Aspect Ratio in Graphics Settings:

  • Open the Intel Graphics Command Center or AMD Radeon Software, depending on your GPU.
  • Navigate to the Display Settings section and look for options like Scaling Mode or Aspect Ratio.
  • Select Stretch or Full Screen to achieve the stretched resolution.

Check HP Display Center:

  • If the HP Display Center isn’t working, ensure it’s updated to the latest version.
  • Reinstall the app from the HP Support page if necessary.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support page or your GPU manufacturer’s website to download the latest graphics drivers.
  • Updated drivers can unlock additional resolution and scaling options.

Let me know how it goes or if you need further assistance! 😊
