Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello, I'm having a problem with the machine where the front controll "buttons" are not responding correctly turning up and down the volume and brightness at randmom. I want to disable them to stop that from happening but I cant find how. From what I have read there must be a registry key to do it (since one is used to enable them) but i dont know which key or where it is stored.

TIA and sorry for my english.

You cannot do this from the BIOS setup. To see exactly what you can control from the BIOS setup reference the Illustrated Parts & Service Map for the Compaq Elite 8300 AIO. I have diabled the touchsceen feature, but I had to do this by opening the chassis and disconnecting the cables there are several small PCB's that support this feature.

I would try and get rid of that Windows 8 operating system. Updating to Windows 10 might solve your control problem with a more advanced driver.
