Is it possible to download HP quick drop.exe to my Android device then transfer to my PC via USB cable? I don't have access to internet and my PC won't accept my hotspot so I'm looking for back doors to set up my PC. Thanx

Hi, @juanito54

If you want, you can install the older HP Orbit software on your PC, which HP quickdrop superseded.

It works the same way as HP quickdrop.

This package provides HP Orbit, which allows users to seamlessly transfer text, photos, and files between PCs and mobile devices. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.

I have zipped up attached the HP Orbit Android APK below, because is it no longer available from the Google Play Store.

You cannot use HP Quickdrop with HP Orbit or visa versa.

You can only get the Windows version of HP quickdrop from the Microsoft store.  There is no exe file to download.

If you don't want to use the older HP Orbit software, you will have to establish an internet connection so you can download and install HP Quickdrop on your PC from the Microsoft store.

@juanito54

If you look for it in Google Play, you'll get the Android version -- which will not install or run on a PC.

Here is the HP site for the app:  https://www8.hp.com/us/en/solutions/quickdrop-photo-sharing-app.html

I would like to thank those of you that responded. Your suggestions were a great help and I will use them but the realization is that I need an internet connection for any of these to work. Thank again for taking the time to respond. You guys are rock stars.
