HP Recommended

I have my kernel dma protection off, i want it to be on, but to do that i must enabe VT-d in bios and there is no option for that. There is only Virtualization Technology option that is VT-x but not for VT-d, I want to know if it is supported by my pc and permanently enabled or not. Could the kernel dma protection be blocked by windows or something? I have Hp Omen Desktop by Obelisk 875-0014
