Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

 

Your camcorder comes with an internal 30GB hard drive, so there is no removable magnetic media you can insert into your PC.

 

You would have to connect the camcorder to your PC using a cable, but the specific cable depends on the output ports available on the camcorder.

 

Issues like this are best dealt with by examining the JVC support forum site:  http://www3.jvckenwood.com/english/download/
