@Mouli123, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Support Assistant has stopped working even after reinstalling, here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

Uninstall HP Support Assistant Completely

  • Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter.
  • Find HP Support Assistant in the list, right-click it, and choose Uninstall.
  • Also uninstall HP Support Solutions Framework if listed.

Restart Your PC

  • After uninstalling, restart your computer to clear any residual files.

Download the Latest Version

  • Visit the official HP Support Assistant download page:
HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
  • Click Download HP Support Assistant, then run the installer and follow the prompts.

Run as Administrator

  • After installation, right-click the HP Support Assistant shortcut and select Run as administrator.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.
  • Restart your PC again after updates.

Temporarily Disable Antivirus/Firewall

  • Sometimes third-party antivirus software can block HP Support Assistant. Try disabling it temporarily and see if the app launches.
