Welcome to the HP English Community --

This is less about your computer brand or computer hardware and more about what the printer supports and how it is connected to your network.

As you can imagine, we support HP printers but not so much anything "Canon".

Perhaps try at Canon Support -

Yes, like you said. HP is a great product, but Canon printers are also. I just purchased this all in one and once I had it set up, I wanted to kill myself.  The Canon printer is old and has no drivers compatible with Windows 11. I had my last HP for over ten years, and it was great, but it finally died. Lost all my data and have spent days recovering it. Now a new printer is on the horizon. Likely and HP. Thanks for your input.

You are welcome.

Well, I'd not want to die for a printer but I certainly understand that "Oh, no - What NOW?" feeling after a mighty struggle to get back what was almost lost.

One word - Canon, HP, or other --

Printers have changed a LOT in the last few years.

Top-shelf costs more than you'd expect.

Compare what you want with what you need with what you are willing (or able) to spend.

Expect to pay for the best features -- it's common practice to include the best features only on the most expensive models.

Good Luck.
