How do I disable Software and Drivers or stop it from popping up several times a day? I've downloaded or dismissed updates and I've tried adjusting the update settings. The status is up-to-date but it still pops up several times a day and disrupts what I'm doing. Is there a way to disable it?

HP Support Assistant settings looks different for me but I just disabled display pop-ups, hopefully that works! Will update you.
Strangely, the only HP Support Assistant tasks that appear on my Task Scheduler are Warranty Checks... I tried both HP folders! I reconfigured the Warranty Check tasks to Windows 10 but that didn't resolve the issue.
Thanks so much for the advice!

personally I had uninstalled it because it is of no use to me
I have to do a test to see
which version do you have?
[edit]
I'm experimenting!
Version: 9.7.238.0
First image, it seems to me that you did not set it like this:
But it takes me a while to see what's up with something
Under settings updates simply "off"
if i click update
It automatically turns on
I turned off and closed
@quezaclar in your manager i can see two line for hp support, you have looked at both
Your images are quite small since you place several of them, so difficult to see!

after a few days he reactivated himself. What I haven't tested yet is simply disabling everything in scheduled tasks for hpsupport. I advise to use the report option "give your opinion" and explain this problem. And for the moment the best if you don't want to be bothered if the indicated options are not enough, to simply uninstall it
