Hi @D_p3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you want to activate Windows on the HP Pavilion G6 laptop. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To activate Windows 10 on your HP Pavilion G6 laptop, you can use the following steps:

Activate Windows:

  • Go to "Settings" by pressing Win + I.
  • Select "Update & Security" and then click on "Activation."
  • Click on "Change product key" and enter the product key when prompted.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process.

Option 2: Digital License

If your HP Pavilion G6 laptop came pre-installed with Windows 10 Pro, it might have a digital license tied to the motherboard. In this case:

Check Activation Status:

  • Go to "Settings" by pressing Win + I.
  • Select "Update & Security" and then click on "Activation."
  • If it says "Windows is activated with a digital license," then your system is already activated, and you don't need to enter a key.

Troubleshoot Activation:

  • If you face activation issues, use the "Troubleshoot" option under "Activation" in the "Update & Security" settings. This will help resolve common activation problems.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
