Hi, please advice: just thinking If I can install windows 11 into 5 years old, my daughter HP Pavilion 14 which has compatible CPU with Win11 but product page doesn't provide any drivers (only for win10). It will work properly? How to prove?
ADD 2: Notebook has a broken SSD, I need to buy new one, but doesn't have a key for OEM Win10 which can be used for cheaper upgrade to Win11 - can you help me somehow?
Thanks Ales.

Hi:
The Windows product key is encrypted in your PC's BIOS so you will not need a product key to reinstall Windows on the new drive.
Unfortunately, no one can tell you how well your notebook will run on W11.
It should work OK, and many times you can use the W10 drivers from your notebook's support page to install drivers for devices that need them on W11.
W11 will probably also install drivers via Windows Update and they will be listed in the Advanced Options>Optional updates section of the Windows update program.
I would definitely give W11 a try because W10 goes out of support in less than two months.
