Although my footpedal downloaded and installed in an old Lenova PC in windows 7, when I bought my HP notepad with windows 10 the footpedal downloaded but failed to install.  On my main PC (Packward Bell) the foodpedal has downloaded in windows 8 and window 10 successful.

@Yvie222

If it's the Infinity product, that is not good news -- as I just did a quick search and found a whole bunch of posts online with complaints about those not working under Win10 with no solutions in any of the posts.

Sorry, but we have no resources for debugging problems with those -- so you will have to contact the supplier of the footpedals to find out what you need to do to get them working under Win10.

Good Luck

Hi WAWood, and thank you for replying.  I am not sure what you mean by the infinity product.   However, I did contact the supplier of the foot pedals  and the firm whose work I have to download, and there are no problems with the foot pedals (Olympus) or the software, as other transcribers who use the system in Windows 7, 8, and 10 have no issues.  In fact, when I had the my old Lenovo laptop., I had no issues either.  I am just so puzzled that the new HP laptop wont install the programme when an old laptop did.
